Began printing copies of 5-year analytical report for distribution. <br /> <br />Data Center - Continued to monitor and collect statistical information relating to <br />municipalities and counties within the Region and State. Disseminated information upon <br />request to local governments and private sector. <br /> <br />Small Cities CDBG - Working to have changes made in awarding of CDBG-CR funds by <br />Division of Community Assistance (DCA); met with State and local officials and attended <br />public hearings. New round of funding to begin in Spring 1996, awards in September <br />1996 for housing rehabilitation, water, sewer, streets, and other neighborhood concerns. <br /> <br /> Emergency Services Activities <br /> <br />Began working on the Concord Fire Department assessment center. Reviewed <br />dimensions with the Chief, conducted candidate orientation and distributed the written <br />exercise. <br /> <br />Provided Critical Incident Stress Debriefing services for emergency responders following <br />an incident. <br /> <br /> Emergency Services Regional Activities <br /> <br />Held the second of three CISD initial training sessions for September and planned the <br />December session. <br /> <br />Attended EMS Today statewide conference in Greensboro. <br /> <br />Held EMSAC meeting October 10 in Charlotte. <br /> <br />Completed all work on regional ambulance placement study and forwarded materials for <br />simlJlations. <br /> <br /> Other Regional Activities <br /> <br />CAROLINAS URBAN COALITION <br /> <br />Met with the Concord Police Chief to plan the next meeting of the Carolinas Urban <br />Coalition Police Chiefs' meeting. Prepared notice and mail to the Police Chiefs. <br /> <br />Worked with Lynn Wheeler and planned the next meeting of the Carolinas Urban <br />Coalition. <br /> <br />Prepared and distributed a quarterly financial report for the Carolinas Urban Coalition. <br /> <br /> <br />
