CABARRUS COUNTY dTPA A(~tivitles Conducted J'I:PA/NCETGP program monitoring of job training activities with the following Cabarrus County contractors: North Carolina Department of Labor (Raleigh-Administrative & Financial unit) - December 1 and 2. Attended and participated in meeting of Governor's Commission on Workforce Preparedness in Raleigh on December 14. Participated in U.S. Department of Labor sponsored Procurement/Contracting training session in Atlanta on December 7-10. Conducted meeting of North Carolina Job Training Administrators Association (NCJTAA) executive committee with MDC, Inc. in Chapel Hill on December 2 regarding SDA-to~SDA training network. Attended and participated in meeting of SDA MIS Users Group in Raleigh on December 8 and 9. Conducted meeting with Wanda Horvath (Special Programs Coordinator - Catawba Valley Community College) on December 13 to discuss ideas for new job training programs. Reviewed, processed, and corrected Monthly Performance Reports from program contractors. Provided technical assistance to JTPA/NCETGP contractor staff. Processed Monthly Financial Status Reports and Requests for Funds from program contractors. Aqing ACtivities HOME AND COMMUNITYCARE BLOCK GRANT SERVICES (HCCBG) Provided technical assistance to the Cabarrus County Department of Aging Long Range Planning Committee. Convened meeting of the In-Home Aide Service Supervisors. Facilitated the quarterly meeting of the Region F Aging Advisory Committee. Facilitated the quarterly meeting of the Region F Senior Tar Heel Legislature Delegates and Alternates. Completed ALL ABOUT AGING - No. 7, the Area Agency on Aging's monthly informational directive to all local community service providers.
