Cabarru$ County <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Began developing follow up recommendations to the criminal justice summit. These <br />recommendations are being coordinated with a member of the County Commission, <br />Sheriff and Concord Police Chief. <br /> <br />Regional <br /> <br />Began planning for the January Centralina area managers' meeting. Topic discussed to <br />be discussed is the Economic Impact Of Motor Sports In The Charlotte Region. <br /> <br />EMS Grant Work <br /> <br />Pubic Education Committee met twice to continue work on the annual EMS awards <br />program. A location has been secured and nomination forms are in the final stages of <br />completion. <br /> <br />The second CISD Training Session was held in Concord and was successfully w~th over <br />45 new members being trained. The ClSD Steering Committee met as well to discuss <br />plans for the January training session to be held at Centralina. <br /> <br />EMS Advisory Council met on December 14 and began discussion of the grant process <br />for the next fiscal year. <br /> <br />Work was begun on organizing and planning a regional EMD course to be held in Stanly <br />county. <br /> <br /> <br />
