Section 14-6 ..... <br /> <br />The current language reads: <br /> <br />Petition No. 94-05(t) <br />(continued) <br /> <br />Destruction: When a nonconforming structure is destroyed or seriously damaged <br />and the repair costs for it equal or exceed 75 percent or more of its tax <br />assessed value, it must, if reconstructed, conform in all ways. Calculation of <br />the cost of damage will be that determined by the owner/operator's insurance <br />carrier. If uninsured or no insurance claim is filed, the amount of damage will <br />be estimated by a County Tax Assessor Office appraiser. <br /> <br />This change clarifies the intent of the Chapter as it would have been applied <br />through the Certificate of Nonconformity Adjustment but is much more specific. <br /> <br /> <br />
