Page 2.1 <br /> <br />During the first two quarters this year we have exceeded our measurable <br />objectives and improved over last year. We have seen the need to have <br />children in placement longer using all of the 90 days for 12 of the 26 <br />served last year. The behavior problems are more severe including <br />personality disorder, Tourette Syndrome, ADD and hyperactivity and suicidal <br />behavior. Last year we saw a big increase in residents experiencing <br />substance abuse. <br /> <br /> This year a clinical director is on staff who has an MSW degree and <br />will provide case consultation to the staff in their work with the residents <br />while assuring standards of quality care are met and accreditation of the <br />home is renewed in 1995. She will also conduct group meetings in the home <br />with the children. Next year she plans to begin some family <br />support/counseling with the residents and their parents. <br /> <br /> <br />
