CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Meeting Date May 2, 1994 <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br /> <br />SUBJECT: "County Ordinance Directing the Regulation of Basic Service Tier Rates and <br /> Related Equipment, Installation and Service Charges of any Cable Television System <br /> Operating in the County of Cabarrus." <br /> <br />On January 3, 1994, the Board authorized the County Manager to submit FCC Form <br />328--Certification for Local Franchising Authorities--to the FCC. One requirement of <br />this certification is the adoption of rate regulations within 120 days after certification by <br />the FCC.
