Meeting Date May 16, 1994 <br /> <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Rental of Kodak Copier-Duplicator Model 955S for the Printing Dept. <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Rent Kodak Copier-Duplicator for $625.00 monthly, paying $.025 per copy over 25,000 <br />monthly. This price includes maintenance, supplies, and copies up to 25,000 monthly. <br />Copier expenses are charged back to other departments at $.03 to $.05 per copy, <br />depending on the size of the job. <br /> <br />An older Kodak copier is currently in use at the Print Shop. This machine is inadequate in <br />many areas: <br /> <br />· Can not make copies on 11 x 17 paper. <br />· <br />· Gray tones are not clear, cannot reproduce graphs. <br />· <br />· Requires loading paper twice to print on the back side of the pages. <br />· <br />· Kequires manual record keeping for Department charges. <br /> <br />The Department of Social Services has agreed to take the current copier, thus eliminating this <br />requested item from their budget. <br /> <br />Attachments X Yes No <br /> <br />Has this been reviewed by the Budget Director?
