(There are appro~4mtaly <br />five families monthly who could use the seer{cas if sta~ were avRilAble). <br />A full-time supervisor position would be used to supervise the two <br />home-based services workers, current fAm{ly preservation worker, and the <br />new worker. The current CPS Treatment supervisor would ,~{~tAt~ <br />responsibility for five CPS social workers. <br /> <br /> No local match is requi~ed for these ~-ant funds during the fL~st <br />~ine months of operation (October 1, 19~ to J~e 30, 1995). If f~ded, <br />we would use the state f~ds for ~e family prese~aflon worke~ position <br />and one-~ of the supe~or post,on. The o~er h~!f of ~e supe~or <br />position ~ Be f~ded ~ugh Title IV-A funds w~ch we ~ be~ <br />recei~ng ~ the f~. For the 1995/96 fis~l y~r we plan to ~e the <br />slate funds ~o ~mi~e new fede~l funds (e.g., Title IV-A-~ ~d IV-B) <br />so t~ a 1o~1 match ~ be w~ved. These fede~ ~es ~ be used <br />~o fund the post,ohs ~yond 1996. Co~equen~ly ~e~ a~ no ~ <br />funds needed ~ a loll ~tch for the ~nt or to suppo~ the st~f <br />posi~ons for the f~{y preservation pro~. <br /> <br /> We apprec/ate the Board of Commissioners considerat/on of this <br />request. We have found the proem to be very successful in preventin~ <br />foster home and Kvoup home placements for ch_t!dven.
