3.6.7 Boring Location Map

CDM will prepare a topographic map of the site locating soil borings with accurate
horizontal and vertical control which are tied to a permanent onsite bench mark.

3.6.8 Boring Logs

CDM will prepare boring logs, field logs and notes, well construction records, and
piezometer construction records.

3.6.9 Other Evaluations

CDM will also evaluate the site for other geologic and hydrologic features including,
but not limited to, slopes, streams, springs, gullies, trenches, solution features, lmrst
terrains, sinkholes, dikes, sills, faults, mines, and ground water discharge features.

3.6.10 Geologic Summary Report

A report summarizing the geological and hydrogeological evaluation of the site that
includes the following:

(A)

A description of the relationship between the uppermost aquifer of the site to
local and regional geologic and hydrogeologic features.

(B)

A discussion of the ground-water flow regime of the site focussing on the
relationship of MSWLF units to groundwater receptors and to groundwater
discharge features.

(c)

A discussion of the overall suitability of the proposed site for solid waste
management activities and which areas of the site are most suitable for
MSWLF units.

(D)

A discussion of the groundwater flow regime of the uppermost aquifer at the
site and the ability to effectively monitor the MSWLF units in order to ensure
early detection of any release of hazardous constituents to the uppermost
aquifer.

TASK 4 - LOCATION RESTRICTIONS

The new Subtitle D regulations contain restrictions on where new landfill~ can be sited. In
accordance with Rule .1618 (c)(4), CDM will evaluate the compliance of both Option A and
B with the landfill location restriction roles outlined in Rule .1622.

n:~eabarmsMmend7.cab
