NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />LEASE AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> THIS LEASE AGREEMENT, executed as of the 1st day of October, <br />1994, by and between Midland Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., whose <br />mailing address is Highway 601 S., Midland, North Carolina 28107 <br />(hereinafter called "Landlord"), and Cabarrus County, whose mailing <br />address is P. O. Box 707, Concord, North Carolina 28025, <br />(hereinafter called "Tenant"): <br /> <br /> WI TN E S SETH THAT: <br /> <br /> In consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements <br />hereinafter set forth, the Landlord does hereby lease and demise <br />unto the Tenant and Tenant hereby accepts and leases from the <br />Landlord, for the term hereinafter specified, the following- <br />described real property (hereinafter sometimes referred to as the <br />"Demised Premises"): <br /> <br /> One bedroom, one "dayroom," and one truck bay, together <br /> with access to and use of the men's and women's <br /> restrooms, the recreation and physical education room, <br /> and the biological hazard cleanup room located upon real <br /> property and a structure described in Deed Books 455, <br /> page 54 and 560, page 670 of the Cabarrus County Registry <br /> (T-10, M-17, P. 24.10 and 24.12) in a building commonly <br /> known as the Midland Volunteer Fire Department (new <br /> addition) all as generally described in a diagram <br /> attached hereto marked Exhibit A and incorporated herein <br /> by reference. ~ <br /> <br /> TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the Demised Premises upon those conditions <br />and with those privileges set forth herein for the term herein set <br />forth, subject to the following covenants and conditions: <br /> <br /> 1.
