County Board <br />of Health met on Monday, February 22, and reviewed the <br />proposal from Browning Ferris Industries (BFI) regarding <br />the operation of the Cabarrus County landfill. <br /> <br />The committee will be making its recommendation regarding <br />the future operation of the landfill to the Board of Health <br />at their meeting on ~rch 2. The Board of Health will be <br />making an official recommendation to the commissioners <br />following their proposal. <br /> <br />Please place this item on the commissioners' agenda so <br />that we may present the recommendation of the Board of Health <br />to the commissioners regarding the future of the Cabarrus <br />County Sanitary Landfill. <br /> <br />With best regards, <br /> <br />William F.
