Contracting Landfill Services from BFI <br /> <br />Term of contract is 10 years. It is assumed the County will operate its own landfill <br />after that period. <br /> <br />Bo <br /> <br />Cost to permit, purchase land and construct a landfill to open in FY 04 is <br />$3,558,280. This is financed for 5 years at a rate of 5%, with annual debt service <br />of $805,788. <br /> <br />All expenditures for new landfill opening in FY 04 are assumed to be the same as <br />in projections for the County-owned landfill operating continuously. <br /> <br />D. Equipment for operating new landfill is purchased in FY 03 for $1,139,788. <br /> <br />E. The County would not operate a demolition landfill. <br /> <br /> <br />
