The Division of Highways reserves <br />the right' to remove these signs in the event the signs <br />are not erected in'accordance with these guidelines or <br />are not p~operly maintained. If requested to do so, the <br />Dlvlsl'On of Highways may erect, maintain, and replace <br />metal type Welcome signs fabricated to Division of <br />'Highways standards on a cost plus 10 ~ercent fee basis. <br /> <br />(11) No overhead Welcome signs shall be permitted. <br /> <br />(12) Welcome signs presently in place at the time this policy <br /> goes into effect may remain In place until good <br /> maintenance practices require their replacement. At the <br /> time of replacement, any new signs shall conform to this <br /> policy. Any existing signs now in place that are <br /> hazardous to traffic shall be removed or moved to a more <br /> suitable location. <br /> <br />Questions pertaining to a Welcome sign should be directed to <br />the appropriate Division Engineer. <br /> <br /> <br />
