CABARRUS COUNTY <br />INVITATION TO BID <br /> <br />Sealed bids for a Stand Alone Document/Remittance Processing System <br />will be received by the Tax Administrator for Cabarrus County in <br />the Board of Commissioners Conference Room (County Manager's <br />Office), 2nd floor of the Cabarrus County Governmental Center until <br />2:00 P.M. Friday, May 14, at which time, they will be publicly <br />opened and read. <br /> <br />Instructions for submitting bids and complete specifications may <br />be obtained at the Cabarrus County Governmental Center, 1st floor, <br />at the office of the Cabarrus County Assessor, 65 Church Street <br />Southeast, P.O. Box 707, Concord, North Carolina, during regular <br />office hours. These bids are being received in accordance with <br />Section 143-129, North Carolina General Statutes. No proposal will <br />be considered or accepted unless at the time of its filing it is <br />accompanied by a deposit equal to not less than five percent (5%) <br />of the proposal. The bid deposit may be in any of the following <br />forms: <br /> Cash <br /> Cashier's check <br /> Certified check <br /> A bid bond by a surety licensed in North Carolina <br />This deposit shall be retained if the successful bidder fails to <br />execute the contract within 10 days after the award or fails to <br />give satisfactory surety as required herein.
