PROPOSED CHANGE <br /> May 10, 1993 <br /> <br />ARTICLE VI Leaves of Absence <br /> <br />Section 26. Military_ Leave <br /> <br /> Permanent employees who are members of the National Guard or Armed Forces Reserve <br />will be allowed ten (10) workdays per year military training leave. <br /> <br />o,~ .... ~ '~ ..... ~ ~ .... ~ ~"-:"~ *t: .... :~ If such milka~ duty is required beyond this len (10) <br /> <br />workday pe~od, the employee shall be eligible ~o take accumulated annual leave, or be placed in a <br />leave-~thout-pay status. Rese~ists called to active duty, with no training period preceding the <br />active duty, shall be allowed ~o charge up to ten days per year of active duty as milita~ training <br />and receive pay for these days. <br /> <br /> The employee will receive his or her full Coun~ sala~ for the days of leave taken <br />(up to the ten days maximum per year). This would be in addition to any milita~ pay <br />received. <br /> <br /> ~le t~lita~ leave with pavia! pay er wi:~zu: pay, the employee's leave credits <br />and othea~s shall continue to accrue as if the employee physically remained with the County <br />du~ng tNs pe~od.
