I'lqtherspoon, County Manager <br />Don Moorhead, Personnel Officer <br /> <br />DATE: June 2, 1993 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Request for a Change to the Military Leave Section of the Cabarrus County <br /> Personnel Ordinance <br /> <br />The Board of Commissioners in their May 17th meeting made dear their desire to continue the <br />provision that county employees on military leave "shall receive partial compensation equal to the <br />difference in the base salary earned as a reservist or guardsman and the salary that would have <br />been earned during this same period as a County employee." <br /> <br />For clarification it is recommended that the wording concerning the accrual of the employee's <br />leave credits and other benefits be revised to read "leave credits and other non-monetary <br />benefits."
