It is <br />imperative, in my opinion, that the County obtaSn formal closure from the Solid Waste <br />Section prior to this date to insure that they do not fall under the Subtitle D rules. This is <br />especially critical for the vertical expansion area which could fall under all of the Subtitle <br />D requirements if it i.s not closed out and certified by October 9. <br /> <br />Please find enclosed three copies of Contract Amendment No. 3 for your approval. This <br />amendment is intended to prepare closure plans and certifications for both areas of the <br />landf'fll, and provide limited assistance during implementation of the plans. Please provide <br />an authorizing signature on each amendment and return two copies to me. <br /> <br />We look forward to working with you on this project. We understand the urgency with <br />which you need to have these projects completed. Once we receive the authorized <br />amendments, I will arrange a time for the Idck-6ff meeting with you. In the meantime, if <br />you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to call me.
