that there are certain hours that he thinks the shop should operate <br />on Sundays. <br /> <br />The Chair asked Mr. Wickens what he thinks about no hours from 8 <br />a.m. til 3 p.m. on Sunday's. <br /> <br />Mr. Wickens said would from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m., would that <br />be acceptable? He said the intent again was not made to disrupt <br />anybody's flow there. <br /> <br />Mr. Smith said it sounds like from what Mr. Wickens said is that he <br />would be agreeable to no Sunday operation until after 1 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Wickens said yes he does not have any problem with that. <br /> <br />There being no further discussion Mr. Amos MOTIONED to approve <br />Petition 93-10 with the following conditions, that it be limited to <br />automobile, vans, and light trucks repair - no heavy trucks, that <br />the natural vegetative screening be provided from 50 foot on the <br />east side of the property from the right-of-way 50 foot back and <br />from that point the 6 foot wooden fence that is shown on the <br />drawing, is equal to the back of the asphalt paving and that there <br />will be no Sunday operation of the business until after 1 p.m., <br />(the petitioner has been agreeable to those conditions), seconded <br />by Mr. Smith. /~ <br /> <br />A question was asked if Mr. Wickens was going to work on race cars. <br /> <br />Mr. Downs said if he owns a race car, he could have a minor repair, <br />but he cannot have a race complex out there. <br /> <br />There being for further discussion, the vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />The Chair stated to the board that she attended the Commissioners <br />meeting on Monday night and we had 3 rezonings in front of them. <br />James Kilgore, off Webb Road in Concord Business Park. He wanted <br />it rezoned from I-1 to I-2. The Planning and Zoning Commission <br />recommended 7 to 1 to deny that petition. The Commissioners tabled <br />it the last time and it was withdrawn. The two others, the board <br />agreed with the planning staff unanimously and the Commissioners <br />unanimously agreed with the Commission. One was the Fesperman <br />Property, off Rainbow Drive. They wanted to rezone from I-1 to R- <br />15 and that was the one we voted to approve and the Commissioners. <br />The board said that if that was rezoned to residential we would <br />want to initiate some administrative rezonings for some of the <br />other properties around. The other was off Armentrout Drive which <br />is that industrial park off of Highway 601 Bypass. They wanted to <br />rezone it from I-1 to I-2 so that he could add that outside <br />storage. We recommended approval and so did the Commissioners. <br /> <br />Director's Report <br /> <br />Mr. Newton addressed the Board stating that the staff has worked <br />with the County school system in helping them come up with a better <br /> <br /> <br />
