Page1 of_2 <br /> <br />STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Amendment Number 1 to Agreement, HOME AND COMMUNITY CARE BLOCK GRANT FOR <br />OLDER ADULTS AGREEMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF COUNTY-BASED AGING SERVICES <br /> <br /> This Amendment, entered into this 15th day of September , 1993 , by and <br /> <br />between the Centralina Council of Governments (hereinafter called the "Council") and the County of <br /> <br /> Cabarrus (hereinafter called the County"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH THAT; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council and the County entered into that certain agreement dated <br /> <br /> July 1, 1993 pursuant to which the County was to provide for certain aging services <br /> <br />in connection with activities financed through the Home and Community Care Block Grant; and <br /> WHEREAS, certain changes need to be made in the total grant funds; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed that the aforesaid Agreement be and it is hereby amended in <br />the following respects: <br /> <br /> 1. Paragraph 2 of the Agreement is amended by deleting therefrom the sum of <br /> <br /> $ 326,213.00 and inserting in lieu thereof the sum of $ 339.379.00 , <br /> <br /> so that the total compensation and reimbursement to be paid the County under <br /> this Agreement, and all Amendments hereto, shall not exceed the sum of <br /> <br /> $ 339,379.00 in total grant funds. <br /> <br /> <br />
