Richard Russell <br />Cabarrus County Government <br />65 Church Street South <br />Concord, NC 28205 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Russell: <br /> <br />IBM Corporation is submitting a joint response with ESRI, an Authorized IBM Bsiness Partner, <br />to your RFP "Computer Work Station With Operating System Software." <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />IBM Response will include the following: <br /> <br />Hardware and software listed on pages 6 through 10 <br /> <br />Hardware and software listed on pages 12 through 15 <br /> <br />The following items on page 11: <br /> <br /> Items 1,2 and 3 under mOther Considerations, Install services and support". <br /> Item I under 'Network Enabling" <br /> Items 1,2 and 3 under "Additions" <br /> Item I under "Removals~ <br /> Item I under "New~ <br /> <br />The ESRI Response will include items 7 and 8 under "Non-IBM". <br /> <br />As an IBM authorized business partner, ESRI will be solely responsible for the exccutlon of thc <br />items to which it responds. <br /> <br />Additionally, There is an IBM product that may be converted to address the requirements specified <br />in item 8 under "Non-IBM". This is the IBM MVS Viaduct product. This is a CICS based <br />product that requires a relational database for execution. The Cabarrus environment is CICS under <br />VSE and is a candidate for possible migration of the MVS product.
