Amend tt~e Proposed Cabarrus Reczil Bill as fo]lows: <br /> <br />(1) The ]e~s]alion would proWde a recall procedure for all e]ecled o.ffida]s in <br />Cabarrus CounV, including jurisdk~ions v,5~hin d~e counV, if approved by fi~e ~,o~ers <br />during fl~e prima-y eleaion in May, 1992. The oMes:ion on d~e ballot in ~he May, i991 <br />prknarg election shall be: <br /> <br />( ) For approv~ of recall for all e]eaed officials in Cabarras County <br />( ) Againtt approval of recall for all e]ecled officials in Cabarrus County <br /> <br />(2) Ch~ge Section 2 1o proxqde for a petkion of Iwen%,-ffve (25g~) percent of the <br />re~stered volers in~lead of thir%,-fve (35%) percent. <br /> <br />(3) Add fl~e fol]o'~g section establishing a ~ime frame for the submission of a <br />petition for a recall election. <br /> <br />A period of 90 days shall be pe~,n{tled Io obtain Cbc required number of <br />signatures for a recall election for the removal of an e]eaed official.
