LCABAit tL S COtl Jl ] <br /> <br />MEMO <br /> <br />June 5, 1992 <br /> <br />TO: John Witherspoon, County Manager <br /> <br />FROM: Eleanor Koski~Director, Dept. of Aging <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Items for the next Commissioners Meeting <br /> <br />The attached items will need to be approved by the Board of <br />Commissioners at their June 15, 1992 meeting. <br /> <br />Item 1: The Weatherization Assistance Program contract with <br />the North Carolina Department of Economic and Community <br />Development Energy Division will need to be approved and signed <br />by the Board Chair. This contract is for a total of $82,250 <br />for the next fiscal year. There will probably be an amendment <br />to this contract later for additional funds. <br /> <br />Along with the Weatherization Contract are two (2) <br />certifications that must be executed and signed by the Board <br />Chair. One is a certification regarding Debarment and Suspension <br />and the other one is certification regarding Lobbying <br />restrictions. These certifications are necessary in order to <br />process the 1992 Weatherization Assistance Program contract. <br /> <br />Item 2: Centralina Council of Governmemts have notified us of <br />additional funding for Senior Center Outreach. A corrected <br />form for the required match will need to be approved and signed <br />by the Board Chair. We will receive $294.00 of additional <br />funds for a total of $2,289 of Grant Funds with a total county <br />match of $254.00. <br /> <br />If you have any questions, please give me a call. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br /> Department of Aging <br /> <br />P.O.
