Section 3: ~eriod of Performance. The Contractor shall commence <br />performance of this contract on the day of , 19 , <br />and shall complete the Program with all practicable dispatch in a sound, <br />economical, and efficient manner to the satisfaction of the Grantee no later <br />than the 30th day of June , 1993 <br /> <br /> section 4: Cost of Program. In order to assist the Contractor in <br />financing the cost of the Program, the Grantee will pay the Contractor an <br />amount not to exceed the following: <br /> <br />A.) ;eatherization Assistance <br /> <br />Administration $ 7,155 <br />Program Support $ 43,407 <br />Materials $ 28,938 <br /> Subtotal $ 79,500 <br /> <br /> 55O <br /> 100 <br /> 800 <br /> <br />B.) Trainin~ and Technical Assistance <br /> <br />Training: Administrative and Technical <br />Consumer Education <br />Travel <br />Supplies/Equipment <br />Audit Compliance Supplies/Equipment <br /> Subtotal <br /> <br /> 5O <br />1,250 <br />2,750 <br /> <br />TOTAL A~ARD $ 82~250 <br /> <br />These funds shall be drawn down monthly based on actual expenditures. In no <br />event shall expenditures exceed the authorized budget for each subpart A and B. <br /> <br />C.) Budget Adjustments <br /> <br /> Budget Line item expenditures must conform with the approved budget as <br />outlined above for each subpart A and B. During the contract period, a Request <br />for Budget Revision (Line item transfer) must be submitted for approval by the <br />grantee prior to any line item overage. Minor line item adjustments necessary <br />to reconcile the budget with final actual expenditures within subpart A and/or <br />Subpart B may be initiated without prior approval within 45 days of contract <br />termination. Budget adjustments may not be made from one subpart to another. <br />However, in no event shall administrative expenditures in subpart A exceed the <br />9Z maximum available for administrative costs. Further, no less than 40Z of <br />total contract expenditures on s~bpart A, less administration and liability <br />insurance, ~ust be for materials installed on units required under this <br />contract. <br /> <br /> Section 5: Contracts Under This Agreement. Unless otherwise authorized in <br />writing by the Grantee, the Contractor shall not assign any portion of the work <br />to be performed under this agreement or execute any contract amendments or <br />change order thereto, or execute any third party consulting contracts, or <br />obligate itself in any manner to any third party with respect to its rights and <br />responsibilities under this agreement without the prior written concurrence of <br />the Grantee. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
