Center, inc. to incorporate additional Title <br /> V funds received in June. <br /> <br />Long Term Care Ombudsman Program <br /> <br /> Worked with facility administrators and families to resolve grievances. <br /> Coordinated preparations for a regional forum on mental health issues. <br /> <br /> Conducted quarterly training meeting with the nursing home community advisory <br /> committee. <br /> <br /> Conducted quarterly training meeting with the domiciliary home community <br /> advisory committee. <br /> <br /> Conducted survey of available nursing home beds and waiting lists for State <br /> Medical Facilities Plan public hearing. <br /> <br /> Prepared information for Centralina Council of Governments Delegate (County <br /> Commission Chairperson) on county nursing home bed survey results. <br /> <br /> Testified at the State Medical Facilities Plan Public Hearing. <br /> <br /> Planning Activities <br /> <br /> Cabarrus County ADA - Completed supervisor training workshops. <br /> <br />Regional Activities <br />COG Related <br /> <br />Building Permit Project - A computer program has been completed to track the <br />data for this project. Continued to work with Counties to develop a monthly <br />reporting system. <br /> <br />GIS - Continued to develop detailed plans for the use of a GIS system with the <br />input of the COG Executive Committee. Requested a proposal from a company <br />to provide hardware, software and training. <br /> <br /> <br />
