At the <br />December meeti~g the nominating Committee shall <br />submit the ..~e of a' candidate for ,each, <br />offices. The floor shall then be opened for <br />additional candidates. In the event there are no <br />nominations from the floor for an office, the <br />candidate presented by the Nominating Committee for <br />that office shall be declared elected. Should <br />nominations be made from the floor for any office a <br />secret ballot shall be held and the candidate <br />receiving the majority of votes shall be declared <br />elected· <br /> <br />Term of Office <br />Officers shall be elected and installed at the <br />organizational meeting to serve for a term of one <br />year. Terms of the officers shall begin at the <br />close of the meeting at which they were elected.' <br /> <br />Officer Vacancy <br />An officer vacancy shall be filled by the Executive <br />Committee for a time period not to exceed the <br />original term of the vacant office. <br /> <br />Duties of the Chairman <br />The Chairman shall preside over all meetings of the <br />Commission and shall sign all official papers or <br />documents relative to action taken by the <br />Commission. The ChaiKman shall appoint members to <br />all committees and shall be an ex-officio member of <br />all committees. <br /> <br />Duties of the Vice-Chairman <br />The Vice-Chairman shall assume all duties of the <br />Chairman in the absence of the Chairman. <br /> <br /> <br />
