ARTICLEVII (Cont.) Section 7. Duties of the Secretary The Secretary, who shall be the Executive Director of the Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission, shall ke~p the official records of all meetings of the Commission and shall notify members of their appointments to committees; shall send out notices of meetings of the Board at least five (5) days prior to such meetings; and shall conduct such correspondence as the organization designates. He may delegate all or part of these duties to another department employee with the approval of the Committee but shall hold the office of Secretary and shall be held responsible for the satisfactory accomplishments of the secretarial duties. ARTICLE VIII Committee Standinq Committees Standing Committees shall be appointed at the regular meeting in January of each year and at such other times as may be deemed necessary. Executive Committee The Executive Committee shall be composed of the officers of the Commission with the Executive Director as an ex-officio member. In addition, the Executive Committee shall also be composed of one member-at-large from the Commission to be nominated by the Nominating Committee and elected at the organizational meeting of the Commission as herein above set forth. ae The Executive Committee shall meet monthly or at mutually agreeable times and places to transact all business referred to it by the Commissioners, and to perform the duties of the Commission between meetings, making a full report of such transactions to the Commission. be The Chairman may call a meeting of the Executive Committee at his discretion. Ce Members of the Executive Committee shall serve for the term of their office.
