Such reimbursement Is not re- <br /> quired after the period of tl~e specified in <br /> accordance vith (l) above. <br /> <br />Conflict of Interest <br /> <br />(a) IDclicahilitv <br /> <br /> In the pro~uresent of Supplies, equip- <br /> ment, construction, and services by <br /> the Recipient, and by Subreclpients <br /> (includingth0se specified at Section <br /> 570.20¢ (c}, the conflict of interest <br /> provisions in 24 CFR 85.36' and O~B <br /> Circular A-il0, respectively, shall <br /> apply. <br /> <br /> (ii) In all cases not governed by 24 CFR <br /> 85.36 and 0m Circler l-ll0, the <br /> provisions of this section shall <br /> apply. Such cases include the acqui- <br /> sition and disposition of real prop- <br /> erty and the provision of assistance <br /> by the Recipient, by its 5ubrenip- <br /> lents, or to individuals, businesses <br /> and other private entities under <br /> eligible activities which authorize <br /> such assistance (e.g., rehabilitation, <br /> preservation and other tmprovenents of <br /> private properties or facilities <br /> pursuant to Section 570.2021 or <br /> ~trants~ loans and other assistance to <br /> businesses~ individuals and other <br /> private entities pursuant to Section <br /> 570.203, Section 570,204 or Section <br /> 570.¢55}. <br /> <br />(h) Conflicts nrohibited. Except fort ha use of <br /> C0BG funds to pay salaries and other related <br /> administrative or personnel costs, the <br /> general~ule is that no persons described in <br /> paragraph (c) of this section vho exercise or <br /> have exercised any functions or responsibili- <br /> ties vith respect to CDSG activities assisted <br /> under this part or vho are tn a position to <br /> participate in a decision-making process <br /> gain inside info,etlon ~ith regard to such <br /> activities, ~a¥ obtain a personal or finan- <br /> cial interest or benefit fro~ a C~BG assisted <br /> antivlt¥, or have an interest in any con- <br /> tract, subcontract or agreement vtth respect <br /> thereto, or the proceeds thereunder, either <br /> for the~salves or those vtth ~hom they have <br /> family or business ti~s, during their tenure <br /> or for one year thereafter. For the <br /> proqran, the above restrictions shall apply <br /> to all activities that are a part of the <br /> project, ~nd shall cover any such interest or <br /> benefit during, or at any ti~e after, such <br /> <br />(c) Fersons covered.
