Regional Ombudsman ~t:c,~,- ~, RE: Appointments, Nursing and Domiciliary Home Committees I DATE: January 23, 1991 I The Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee presently has three vacancies that need to be filled by the county commissioners. All of the nursing homes have been sent notice requesting nominees and I none have submitted names. An article in the resulted newspaper in several applications of persons wanting to serve on this committee. Each has been sent information about the committee and how it functions. The Domiciliary Mome Community Advisory Committee presently has one vacancy due to the resignation of Frederick Bost. Due to other commitments Mr. Bost has not been able to attend the meetings and requested that he be replaced. In addition, the name of Kay Scott needs to be deleted' from ~he Domicilia~-y Committee membership. Ms. Scott works during the day and is unable to participate in committee activities. She does not need to be. replaced. These actions should result in a total membership of seven for the Nursing Home Committee and eight for the Domiciliary Committee. The committee members and I will be attending the February 4th meeting to present our annual reports.
