PROPOSED AM'ENDMENT TO THE PARKING LOT ORDINANCE <br />SECTION 3, CA.TEGORIES OF PARKING - <br /> <br />Amend Subsection B to read as follows: <br /> <br /> B. Parking Spaces for Court Officials: Six (6) parking spaces <br />shall be reserved for the exclusive use of Court officials of the General <br />Court of Justice, more specifically reserved as follows: Two (2) parking <br />spaces for Judges of the Superior and District Courts; and one (1) space <br />each for the District Attorney, the Clerk of Superior Court, the Court <br />Reporter, and the Magistrate's Office. The location of each of these <br />parking spaces shall be determined by the County Manager, and these <br />spaces shall be designated by sign or other markings. <br /> <br />Amend Subsection C read follows: <br /> to <br /> <br /> C. Sheriff's Department and Jail Vehicles: <br /> <br />Fifty-nine (59) parking spaces are hereby designated as parking spaces for <br />vehicles owned or operated by the Sheriff, Sheriffs Department or Jarl <br />employees or County-owned vehicles operated by Sheriffs Department <br />officers. Of these spaces, one (1) space shall be reserved for each of the <br />follmving officers: the Sheriff, the Chief Deputy, the Captain (Operations), <br />and Captain (Services). The location of these paridng spaces shall be <br />determined by the County Manager, and these spaces shall be designated <br />by sign or other markings. <br /> <br />Amend Subsection E to read es follows: <br /> <br /> E. 'Parking S_race for Coun0y M~tinlenance Track; <br /> <br />One (1) parking space is hereby assigned to the County Maintenance <br />Department. The location of this parking space shall be determined by the <br />County Manager, and this space shall be designated by sign or other <br />markings. <br /> <br /> <br />
