RESOLUTION <br /> <br />h~.=~AS: The General Assembly of North Carolina did enact into <br /> law statutes to authorize ~utual aid a£a£stence be- <br /> tween law enforcement agencies whereby full authoriza- <br /> tion may be exercised for law enforcement agencies to <br /> send l~ersonnel and equi~ent beyond the t'erritorial <br /> which normally said acts <br /> they <br /> ha~£ng been codified as G.$, 160-288 and G,S. 90-95.2. <br /> <br />~E-P~A$: The pur~e of ~uch a~reements ia to provide each <br /> the law enforcement agencies a predete~ined plan <br /> <br /> case of civil ~l~or~er, natural disaster~ or other <br /> services beyond the existing cap~llit~es of either <br /> <br />~-~AS: It i~ demed to b~ tn the ~blic Interest for <br /> ~unty to adopt a reason~le ~1i~ and ~idel~eu for <br /> entering into rec~=~a~ law enforc~ent <br /> vhereby azsistance can be both zendered to and ob- <br /> tanned from o~her locaZ gover~ental <br /> <br /> merit mutual aid assistance across ~ur~sdictlonal <br /> will increase th~ ~llit~ of local law enforcement <br /> agencies to preserve the safety and welfare of the <br /> <br />NOW BE ~ ~ ~E~L~9 BY ~ ~US <br /> <br /> enforc~ent ~tual t~ agre~nt; ~Lth other county and <br /> <br /> <br />
