Cabarrus County <br /> Sheriff's Department <br /> <br /> Mrs. Carolyn Carpenter <br /> Interim County Manager <br /> Cabarrus County <br /> <br /> Dear Mrs. Carpenter; <br /> <br /> Please find attached the REPORT ON JAIL FOOD SERVICE that <br /> I have prepared for the Board of Commissioners. <br /> <br /> I am very well pleased with the results of the cost <br /> analysis of the Jail Food Service. Last year we saved the county <br /> $14,640.94 over the 42 weeks that the kitchen was operational. <br /> This figure resulted from using the last bid price of $6.29 per day <br /> for the three meals.
