RESOLUTION CALLING FOR AN ELECTION ON THE CREATION OF AND <br /> THE LEVYING OF A TAX FOR TEE POPLAR TENT BEAUTIFICATION DISTRICT <br /> IN CABARRUS COUNTY, NORTE CAROLINA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, under the provisions of Chapter 685 of the 1991 <br /> Session Laws of the General Assembly of North Carolina, the <br /> Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners was authorized to call an <br /> election in the Poplar Tent Beautification District (as more <br /> particularly described in the Act) to submit to the voters in the <br /> district the single issue of establishing the Poplar Tent <br /> Beautification District and authorizing the annual levy and <br /> collection of a special ad valorem tax on all taxable property in <br /> the district; <br /> <br /> BE IT, THEREFORE, RESOLVED that in accordance with Chapter <br /> 163 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the Cabarrus <br /> County Board of Commissioners does hereby call upon the Cabarrus <br /> County Board of Elections to conduct the election described in <br /> this resolution and the Act in the Poplar Tent Beautification <br /> District on November 5, 1991. <br /> <br />Adopted by Board of Commissioners on September 3, 1991 <br /> <br /> <br />
