(5) The agency will agree to identify sufficient supervisory time to <br /> assure that family preservation workers receive appropriate supervi- <br /> sion and clinical guidance. <br /> <br /> (6) The agency will participate in gathering data for use in evaluation of <br /> service delivery strategies, in consultation ~ith the Division of <br /> Social Services, and to furnish reports to the Division as needed. <br /> <br /> VII. Trainin~ <br /> <br /> Training will be provided for staff in the project counties. In addition, <br />counties that are implementing Family Preservation Services Programs but are not <br />a part of the project will be able to participate in the training that is <br />provided for the project counties. Ail counties presently implementing a Family <br />Preservation Services Program and not submitting a grant proposal should com- <br />plete Attachment C and submit it to Wanda Reives, Children's Program <br />Coordinator. <br /> <br />VIII. State A~enc7 Comitment: <br /> <br /> The Division of Social Services will be responsible for: <br /> <br /> (1) Overall state-level management and direction of the project. <br /> <br /> (2) Providing on-site consultation and technical assistance to project <br /> count/es. <br /> <br /> arranging for training for project counties. <br /> <br /> (4) Periodically mvnitoring and evaluating fha county projects. <br /> <br /> (5) Reimbursing counties for approved expenditures through the regular <br /> reimbursement process. <br /> <br />IX. Criteria for Selection: <br /> <br /> County proposals will be reviewed in relation to: <br /> <br /> (1) Project purpose, requirements, and limitations. <br /> <br /> (2) Agency management's willingness to co.it ti~e, effort and and <br /> personnel. : <br /> <br /> (3) Resources available to county. Counties currently accessing family <br /> preservation services through the Division~s contracts with the <br /> Hethodisc Home For Children - Family Crisis Counselor Program and <br /> Bringing It Ali Back Home - Home Remedies Program will be given lower <br /> consideration in the selection process. · ..... <br /> <br /> t <br /> <br /> <br />
