McGinnis <br /> ~abarrus County Manager <br /> Courthouse <br /> PO Box 707 <br /> Concord, NC 28025 <br /> <br /> Dear Mr. McGinnis: <br /> <br /> We have received the Single Audit Report Of Cabarrus County for the Fiscal <br /> Year Ended June 30, 1989, which has been accepted by the Secretary of the <br /> Local Government Commission. <br /> <br /> The auditor's Reports on Compliance, Internal Control, and Schedule of <br /> Findings and Questioned Cost disclosed findings for which the Department of <br /> Human Resources is responsible for resolution. <br /> <br /> The Corrective Action Plan required under the provisions of OMB Circular A-128 <br /> was furnished to us with the audit report; however, responses to internal <br /> control findings were not included in the Corrective Action Plan. <br /> <br /> A Corrective Action Plan addressing each compliance finding, internal control <br /> finding, recemmendation, or questioned cost, as enumerated in the auditor's <br /> Schedule of Compliance Findings and/or Questioned cost or elsewhere in the <br /> reports, should be submitted to this office within thirty (30) calendar days <br /> of receipt of this letter. <br /> <br /> Your Corrective Action Plan for each finding, recommendation, and/or <br /> questioned cost should include the following information: <br /> <br /> 1. Your specific concurrence or non-concurrence with the finding, <br /> recommendation, and/or questioned cost; <br /> <br /> 2. If you agreewith %he finding, recor~nendation, and/or questioned <br /> cost, please provide a description of the specific actions taken or <br /> planned, including time schedules, t© settle the finding, implement <br /> the recommendation, and/or refund any State and Federal <br /> participation in questioned cost; and <br /> <br /> 3. If you disagree with the finding, recommend~iOa, and/or questioned <br /> cost, you should provide thelspecific reason(s) for your position <br /> and full justification, including any supporting documentation you <br /> believe we shouid conslder in the resolution process. <br /> <br /> <br />
