A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE MONTH OF MAY <br /> AS DUCKLING MONTH IN CABARRUS COUNTy <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Concord Farms, Inc., a North Carolina corporation, is the only duckling <br /> company in the south or southeast; and <br /> WHEREAS, Concord Farms, Inc. sells duckling in al/ fifty states and exports to over <br /> fifteen foreign Countries; and <br /> WHEREAS, Concord Farms,/nc. has an economic im act <br /> in North Car ' . . . .p on farming in slx counties <br /> ohna by contracting w~th fifty farmers; and <br /> WHEREAS, Concord Farms, Inc. employs Some four hundred North Carolinians; and <br /> WHEREAS, Concord Farms, Inc. owns and operates in Cabarms County the world's <br /> largest duckling hatchery; and <br /> WHEREAS, Concord Farms, Inc. produces approximately tWenty-seven percent of al/ <br /> duckling in the United States; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Concord Farms National Duckling Cooking Contest will be featured <br /> at the Share Cabarms Festival in May. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, I, James W.
