WI-IEREAS, County has appropriated the sum of $20,000.00 for this purpose for <br /> the period July 1, 1990 - June 30, 1991. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, County and Rescue Squad <br /> do mutually agree to the following te~s and conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. This contract shall begin July 1, 1990, and shall exist through June 30, <br /> 1991. <br /> <br /> 2. Rescue Squad shall pro,de voluntary rescue and ambulance service tn <br /> <br />addition to the ambulance service provided by the Cabarrus County Emergency Medical <br />Services when dispatched by the Cabarrus County Communications Center and/or the <br />Cabarms County Emergency Medical Service. Rescue Squad further agrees that response <br />for back'up for the Cabarrus County Emergency Medical Services shall be assumed by <br />providing a monthly twenty-four hour per day standby roster. <br /> <br /> 3. Rescue Squad shall pro'Hdc mutual aid to other rescue squads and/or fire <br />departments in and for Cabarrus County as required. <br /> <br /> 4. County shall allocate and pay to Rescue Squad eleven (11) monthly <br /> <br />payments of $1,666.66 and one (1) monthly payment of $1,666.74, with each monthly <br />payment to be made on or about the last day of each month, commencing with July, <br />1990. <br /> <br /> 5. Rescue Squad shall use the funds paid to it by County for rescue and <br />ambulance service work. At the end of its fiscal year, Rescue Squad shall undergo an <br />audit of its operations conducted by a certified public accountant, and shall submit a copy <br />of the report of this audit to County within n~nety (90) days of the conclusion of its <br />established fiscal year. In addition, for succeeding fiscal year of County for which Rescue <br />Squad seeks a continuing appropriation of County, by no later than March 15, Rescue <br /> <br /> <br />
