incurred by KCCBI in delivering such services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, COUNTY has appropriated the sum of Three Thousand Dollars <br />($3,000.00) to assist KCCBI in its delivering such services for the period July 1, 1990 - <br />June 30, 1991. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, COUNTY and KCCBI do <br />mutually agree to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. This contract shall begin Ju!~, 1, .1990, and shall exist and continue through <br />June 30, 1991. <br /> <br /> 2. KCCBI shall initiate and implement programs designed to plant, cultivate <br />and/or clean up public property, to educate the general public regarding the benefits of <br />a clean environment, and to institute other programs designed to reduce litter and other <br />physical pollution of the environment in Cabarrus County for the benefit of all its <br />citizens. <br /> <br /> 3. COUNTY shall allocate and pay to KCCBI twelve (12) monthly pa)~nents of <br />Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00) each, for a total of Three Thousand Dollars <br />($3,000.00), ~5th each monthly payment to be made on or about the last day of each <br />month, commencing with July, 1990. <br /> <br /> 4. KCCBI shall use the funds paid to it by COUNTY for the public purposes set <br />forth hereinbefore. At the end of its fiscal year, KCCBI shall undergo an audit of its <br />operations conducted by a certified public accountant, and shall submit a copy of the <br />report of this audit to COUNTY within ninety (90) days of the concluslon of its <br />established fiscal year.
