WHEREAS, COUNTY has appropriated the sum of Five Thousand Dollars <br /> ($5,000.00) to assist ANIMAL PROTECTION in providing such a service for the period <br /> July 1, 1990 - June 30, 1991. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, COUNTY and ANIMAL <br /> PROTECTION mutually agree to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. This contract shall begin July 1, 1990, and shall exist and continue through <br /> June 30, 1991. <br /> <br /> 2. ANIMAL PROTECTION shall aide in the prevention of cruelty to animals <br /> through investigating citizen reports, providing education through schools and civic <br /> organizations, assisting with animal adoption, and other various programs currently <br /> provided by the agency. <br /> <br /> 3. COUNTY shall allocate and pay to ANIMAL PROTECTION eleven.(ll) <br />successive monthly payments of Four Hundred Sixteen Dollars Sixty-Six Cents ($416.66) <br />each, and a twelfth (12th) and final monthly payment of Four Hundred Sixteen Dollars <br />Seventy-Four Cents ($416.74), for a total sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), with <br />each successive monthly payment to be made on or about the last day of each month, <br />commencing July 31, 1990. <br /> <br /> 4. ANIMAL PROTECTION shall use the funds paid to it by COUNTY for the <br />public purposes set forth hereinbefore. At the end of its fiscal year, ANIMAL <br />PROTECTION shall undergo an audit of its operations conducted by a certified public <br />accountant, and shall submit a copy of the report of this audit to COUNTY within <br />rfinety (90) days of the conclusion of its established fiscal year. In addition, for <br />COUNTY's 1991-92 fiscal year and for each sucgeeding fiscal year of COUNTY for <br />which ANIMAL PROTECTION seeks a continuing appropriation from COUNTY, by no <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
