The franchise shall state the geographical boundaries, if <br />any, of the area for which the franchise is granted. With six <br />months written notice to the franchised operator, the Board may <br />alter the geographical boundaries of the franchisee. <br /> <br /> If any franchised ambulance provider shall fail to comply <br />with any provision of this ordinance, then the Board, after a <br />hearing upon thirty (30) days written notice, may suspend or <br />revoke the franchise. If upon such bearing, the Board shall find <br />that the franchise holder has corrected any deficiencies and has <br />brought itself into compliance with the provisions of this <br />ordinance, the franchise shall not be suspended or revoked. <br /> <br /> Upon suspension, revocation or termination of an ambulance <br />franchise hereunder, such ambulance provider shall immediately <br />cease operations as such. Upon suspension, revocation or <br />termination for any reason of an Emergency Medical Technician <br />license or certificate hereunder, such person as previously held <br />such license or certificate shall cease to function as an <br />operator or attendant on an ambulance. <br /> <br />S~C~ON 6. S~ANDARDS PORAHBULANC~ FRANCHISE: <br /> <br /> (a} Each franchised ambulance provider shall at all times <br /> comply with all applicable State laws and provisions of <br /> this ordinance. <br /> <br /> (b) Any change of ownership or management of a franchised <br /> ambulance provider shall terminate the franchise and <br /> shall require a new application and a new franchise and <br /> conformance with all the requirements of this ordinance <br /> as upon original franchising. <br /> <br /> (c) No franchise may be sold, assigned, mortgaged or <br /> otherwise transferred without the approval of the <br /> County and a finding of conformance with all the <br /> requirements of this ordinance as upon original <br /> franchising. <br /> <br /> (d) Each franchised ambulance provider, its equipment and <br /> the premises designated in the application and all <br /> records relating to its maintenance and operation as <br /> such, shall be open to inspection by the County or its <br /> designated representative during normal office hours. <br /> <br /> 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
