COPY OF A RESOLUTION PASSED BY THE BOARD OF <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF CABARRUS, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> A motion was ma~e by and seconded by <br /> <br /> for the adoption of the following <br /> <br /> Resolution, and upon being put to a vote was duly adopted: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the North Carolina Department of Transportation <br /> has prepared plans to m~ke certain street and highway improvements <br /> consisting of the replacement of Bridge ~]3 over Coddle Creek and <br /> approaches on NC 136 west of Kannapo]is; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation and the County <br /> propose to enter into an agreement for construction of the <br /> aforementioned highway improvement whereby the County <br /> agrees to design the project plans, acquire the right of way and <br /> adjust utilities, ail without cost to the Department; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County agrees to reimburse the Department <br /> to the extent of $265,000 toward the costs of the project. <br /> <br /> NO~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Project B-IOTB, <br /> Cabarrus County, is hereby formally approved by the Board of <br /> Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus and that the Chairman and <br /> and the Secretary are hereby empowered to sign and execute the <br /> Agreement with the Department of Transportation. <br /> <br /> I, , Secretary of the County of <br /> <br /> Cabarrus, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct <br /> copy of excerpts from the Minutes of the meeting of the Board of <br /> <br /> Commissioners duly held on the __ day of , 19 . <br /> <br />" WITNESS, my hand and the official sea] of said County on <br /> <br /> this the __day of , 19 <br /> <br /> (SEAL) <br /> SECRETARY <br /> COUNTY OF CABARRUS <br /> NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> <br />
