The F'u-st Respondcr Advisory Board met on November 26, 1990 and approved Cold <br /> Water and Georgeville Fire Departments as F'u-st Respouder agencies. According to the <br /> -:~ 1~'u'st Responder Ordinance, they must now have the approval of the Board of <br /> Commissioners. I request this approval be included on the December 3, 1990 agenda. <br />:~--~' ::~ With the inclusion of Cold Water and Georgeville, this will bring the number of Cu~-t <br /> responder departments to 13. 'Vnls is 13 of 15 rural departments in the county. Neither <br /> ' ' the City of Concord nor the City of Ir. annapolis has a rust responder program at this time. <br /> <br /> November ends the third ycar of the program in the county that began with 8 <br /> departments. The program has grown to 1~ departments and approximately 1900 calls <br /> have been answei~d. <br /> <br /> The program has been very successful in providing quick medical care for a large <br /> BHM,$r./gn <br /> <br /> <br />
