The <br />Marrisburg cars will also be avgilable for dispatch to back up the <br />zone car working the area around Harrisburg in the event that <br />there is a need for a backup car. The Harrisburg car shall only be <br />used when necessary. <br /> <br /> The Cabarrus County Sheriffs' Department shall continue to <br />provide recorde keeping, investigation, communications and train- <br />ing functions for the officers assigned to the Harrisburg zone. <br /> <br /> Liason between the City of Harrisburg and the Sheriffs' <br />Department will be handled through the Mayor of Harrisburg and the <br />Captain over the Patrol DlvisLon of the Sheriffs~ Department. The <br />Sheriff will be available at any time to discuss situations or <br />needs for changes in procedures as requested by the City Govern- <br />ment. <br /> <br /> It is agreed to by both parties involved in the agreement <br />that any reductions in manpower allocations, major changes in <br />working condlt~ona or other eubstancial alterations to th£e agree- <br />ment shall be proceeded by written notification to the affected <br />party at least Bix months in advance. This agreement shall remain <br />in effect from the first day of July of each year until June 30 of <br />the next year. Major changes to the agreement shall be considered <br />and decided upom prior to January 1st. Written notification to all <br />~arties shall be received on or before Januaxy 1st. so the two <br />affected parties can properly plan their budget allocations for <br />the next year. <br /> <br /> This agreement is entered into this day of ~990, <br />by Rober= M.
