Section 7. Contracts Under This Agreement. Unless otherwise m authorized in writing by the Department, the Contractor shall not assign any portion of the work to be performed under this Agreement, or execute any m contract, amendment, or change order thereto, or obligate itself in any m manner with any third party with respect to its rights and responsibilities under this Agreement without the prior written concurrence of the Department. m Further, the Contractor shall incorporate the provisions of this Agreement into any vehicle lease arrangement and shall not enter into any vehicle lease I arrangement without the prior concurrence of the Department. Any lease i approved by the Department shall be subject to the conditions or limitations governing the lease of Project equipment as set forth by UMTA and the Department. Section 8. Purchase of Project Equipment. The purchase of project m equipment pursuant to this Agreement shall be undertaken in accordance with i either of the options in this Section: - (al Purchase b~ the Department.
