The Contractor shall furnish the Department with'a copy of the <br />!m independent audit report within thirty (30) days of completion of the <br /> report, but no later than one (1) year after the end of theaudit period. <br /> <br /> Section 7. Contracts Under This Agreement. Unless otherwise <br /> m authorized in writing by the Department, the Contractor shall not assign any <br /> <br /> portion of the work to be performed under this Agreement, or execute any <br /> m contract, amendment, or change order thereto, or obligate itself in any <br /> <br /> m manner with any third party with respect to its rights and responsibilities <br /> under this Agreement without the prior written concurrence of the Department. <br /> <br /> m Further, the Contractor shall incorporate the provisions of this Agreement <br /> <br /> into any vehicle lease arrangement and shall not enter into any vehicle lease <br /> I arrangement without the prior concurrence of the Department. Any lease <br /> <br /> i approved by the Department shall be subject to the conditions or limitations <br /> governing the lease of Project equipment as set forth by UMTA and the <br /> Department. <br /> <br /> Section 8. Purchase of Project Equipment. The purchase of project <br /> m equipment pursuant to this Agreement shall be undertaken in accordance with <br /> <br /> i either of the options in this Section: - <br /> (al Purchase b~ the Department. The Department may act as the <br /> <br /> m procurement agency on behalf of the Project, purchasing equipment through <br /> <br /> the North Carolina Department of Administration, Purchase and Contract <br /> m Division. <br /> (b) Purchase by the Contractor.
