DOMICILIARY HOME COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br /> <br /> Ms. Alice Hedt, Regional Ombudsman with the Centralina Council of <br /> Governments, provided the following information and reeommendetions <br /> regarding the Domiciliary Home Community Advisory Committee and the <br /> appointments which expired on December 21, 1988~ <br /> <br />Reappointed (1) Mr. John Pharr was appointed in March, 1988 for a one-year term ending <br /> 1/3/89 on December 21, 1988. Mr. Pharr has indicated his willingness to <br /> continue to serve on the Committee and is recommended for <br /> reappointmsnt to a three-year term ending December 21, 1991. <br /> <br /> (2) Mrs. Frances B. Long has served on the Committe~ since 1984 and is <br />Reappointed eligible for reappointment. She has been contaoted and is interested <br /> 1/3/89 in continuing her membership on the Committee. Mrs. Long is <br /> recommemded for reappointment for a three-year term emding December <br /> 21, 1991. <br /> <br />Reappointed (3) Frederick Best was appointed to the Committee in 1984 as a nominee of <br /> 1/3/89 the domiciliary home administrators in Cabarrus County. He has <br /> indicated his willingness to continue to serve on ~he Committee and is <br /> recommended for reappointment to a three-year term ending on <br /> December 21, 1991. <br /> <br /> (4) There are currently two vacant positions on the Committee. <br /> Applications for Nomination have been sent persons in the county ia an <br /> attempt to get recommendations for appointments to fill these <br /> vacancies. No recommendations have been received. Appointments to <br /> these positions would be for an initial term of one year ending <br /> December 21, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
