Secfion . 0205 states that food receptacles shall <br /> be accessible to all dogs or cats and shall be 1o- <br /> cated so as to min/mize contamination by excrete. <br /> Feeding pans shall be durable and shall be kept <br /> clean and sanitized. <br /> <br /> At this time, the dogs are being fed off the floor. The solution is <br />to purchase feeding pans. <br /> <br /> V, SAN IIAIION <br /> <br /> A. Hot water. <br /> <br /> 1. Section .0207 (3 A) states that runs and ~ <br /> should be washed with hot water (180 degrees F). <br /> <br /> We have no hot water. In the winter, the water freezes as soon as it <br />is sprayed on the floors and s~etlme, s stays all day. <br /> <br /> VI, ISOLATION FACILITIES <br /> <br /> A. Isolation space is inadequate. <br /> <br /> 1. According to Section .0209 (2) any dog or cat ex~ <br /> hibiting a vicious disposition shall be housed in- <br /> dividually in a primary enclosure. <br /> <br /> 2. Section .0209 (5) states that dogs or cats undmr <br /> ~ntine or treatm~%t for a cc~munlcable disease <br /> shall be separated from other dogs or eats and other <br /> suspectible species of an/reals in such a manner as to <br /> minimize dissemination of such disease. <br /> <br /> We do not have enough runs to house many dogs or cats in isolation. We <br />house biting dogs in a run by themselves. If we get more than two or three <br />biting dogs at the sam~ t/me, this cuts down on th~ space to house stray dogs. <br /> <br />VI I, TRANSPORTATION <br /> <br /> A. T~m~perature of enclosures used for transportation. <br /> <br /> 1.
