Section 3: Period of Performance. The Contractor shall commence <br /> performance of this contract on the day of , 19 ,. and <br />shall complete the Progr&m with all practicable dispatch in a sound, <br />economical, and efficient manner to the satisfaction of the Grantee no later <br />than the 31 day of March ~ 19 90. <br /> <br /> Section 4: Cost of Program. In order to assist the C~ntractor in <br />financing the cost of the Pro,ram, the Grantee will pay the Contractor an <br />amount not to exceed the following: <br /> <br /> A. ) Weatherization Assistance <br /> <br /> Administration $ 1,662.00 <br /> Program Support $ 15,623.00 <br /> Materials $ 10,415.00 <br /> Subtotal ~ 27,700.00 <br /> <br />B.) Training and Technical Assistance <br /> <br /> Training: Administrative and Technical $ 200.00 <br /> Consumer Education - $ 100.00 <br /> Travel $ 1100.00 <br /> Supplies/Equipment $ 100.00 <br /> Subtotal $ 1,500.00 <br /> <br /> TOTAL AWARD $29,200.00 <br /> <br />These funds shall be drawn down monthly based on actual expenditures. In no <br />event shall expenditures exeeed the au~rized budget for each subpart A and B. <br /> <br />C.) Bud_~et Adjustments <br /> <br /> Budget line item expenditures must conform with the approved budget as <br />outlined above for each subpart A and B. During the contract period, a Request <br />for Budget Revision (line item transfer) must be submitted for approval by the <br />grantee prior to any line item overage. Minor line item adjustments necessary <br />to reconcile the budget with final actual expenditures within subpart & and/or <br />Subpart B may be initiated without prior approval within 45 days of contract <br />termination. B~dget adjustments may ~ot be made from one subpart to a~other. <br />However, in no event shall administrative expenditures in subpart & e×eeed the <br />6% maximum available for administrative costs. Further, no less than 40% o_~f <br />total contract expenditures on subpsrt A, less administration and liability <br />insurance, must be for materials installed O~ us[tS required Under this <br />eontrac~. <br /> <br /> Section 5: Contracts Under This k~reement. Unless otherwise, authorized in <br />writing by the Grantee, the Contractor shall not assign any portion of the work <br />to be performed under this a6reement or execute any contract ~mendments or <br />chan~e order thereto, or execute any third party consulting contracts~ or <br />obligate itself in any manner to any third party with respect to its rights and <br />responsibilities under this agreement without the prior written concurrence of <br />the Grantee. <br /> <br /> -2- <br /> <br /> <br />
