STAFF ANALYSIS-PETITION 89-06 <br /> <br /> This request for rezonlng is for the stated purpose of <br />making the County zoned portion of the lot correspond with <br />the City of Concord zoned portion of the lot, and thus to <br />allow employee parking. <br /> There are a number of factors in support of this <br />rezoning. The property is currently being used for <br />commercial purposes, it has good access, is served by the <br />City of Concord water and sewer, and is adjacent to other <br />commercial uses. in addition, say parking on the property <br />would be required to meet the design standards of Section <br />5.8 of the Cibarru$ County Zoninq Ordinance. <br /> The staff recommends that Petition 89-06 'be approved. <br />Further, staff recommends that consideration be given to <br />rczoning the two. adjacent properties that also have split <br />City/County zoning (PiN 5631-84-7156 and 83-6849). <br /> <br /> <br />
