It will be OWNER and contractor's responsibility <br /> to coordinate geotechnical inspection services after construction <br /> begins. <br /> <br /> o Field surveying work. <br /> <br /> o Evaluation of bids. <br /> <br /> o Preparation of final bid documents ready for distribution to <br /> contractors. <br /> <br />2. The responsibility of OWNER as described in Section 2 of said Agreement <br /> are amended and supplemented as follows: <br /> <br /> o Select a borrow area where soil will be excavated and used for <br /> construction of the earthen dam. <br /> <br /> o Provide clear access to the landfill site and borrow areas for <br /> ENGINEER and ENGINEER's representatives as well as clear access to <br /> boring sites for the geotechnical engineers' vehicles. <br /> <br /> o Provide engineering plans, or other reports on the landfill, any <br /> correspondence about the landfill from the State, as necessary. <br /> <br /> o Notify ENGINEER at least one week before construction begins so <br /> that construction services can be coordinated. <br /> <br /> o Contract directly for geotechnical inspection services. <br /> <br />3. The time periods for the perfomance of ~GINEER'S services as set <br /> forth in Section 4 of said Agreement are amended and supplemented as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> Tasks 1.0 through 4.0 will be completed within 8 weeks of execution of <br /> this Agreement and authorization to proceed.
