~-tiole I <br /> Wastewater Treatment Serviees <br /> <br /> Section A - Services <br /> <br /> 1) The City agrees to provide treatment, at the Rocky River Regional <br /> Wastewater Treatment System~ of all domestic wastewater from the <br /> County's waetewater collection system. <br /> <br />2) The City agrees to provide treatment of all non-domestic <br /> wastewater from the County's wastewater collection system provided said <br /> nondomestic wastewaters and dischargers meet the terms and conditions <br /> of the City's Sewer Use Ordinance. <br /> <br />3) The City agrees to adopt and update aa necessary a system of User <br /> Charges and Rates which conforms to state and federal requirements and <br /> will equitably distribute to the Users the cost of operating and <br /> maintaining the treatment system. <br /> <br />4) The City agrees to adopt a Sewer Use Ordinance that will comply <br /> with the State and Federal Requirements and control the wastewater <br /> discharged into the Rocky River Regional Wastewaber Treatment System. <br /> The City will update and amend the Sewer Uae Ordinance as necessary and <br /> appropriate. <br /> <br />5) The County agrees to adopt a Sewer Use Ordinance that parallels <br /> the Sewer Use Ordinance adopted by the City. The County's Ordinance <br /> shall be amended as necessary to insure that all the requirements of <br /> the County's Ordinance are as stringent as the requirements of the <br /> City's Sewer Use Ordinance. As a customer of the City~ the County <br /> agrees to comply with the City's Sewer Use Ordinance. <br /> <br />6) The County agrees to maintain their wastewater collection system <br /> in good working condition to minimize infiltration and inflow (I/I) <br /> into the Treatment System. <br /> <br />7) The County~ unless otherwise herein specified agrees to maintain <br /> all outfalla~ intereeptors~ and pump stations in good working order to <br /> insure proper operation in accordance with all State and Federal <br /> laws and regulations. <br /> <br />8) The County agrees to maintain adequate control over connections <br /> to its wastewater collection system so that all connections and <br /> wastewater discharges meet the requirements of the County's Sewer Use <br /> Ordinance. <br /> <br />9) The County agrees to random and investigative inspections and <br /> sampling on any of the County's premises throughout the geographieal <br /> area served by the County. <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
