Posters were displayed in <br /> appropriate places in each home. Brochures are taken to the Homes to be dis- <br /> tributed to family members, One member of the co~uittee attended a workshop on <br /> Dementia and Depression in the Older Adult. Each new member attends a training <br /> session with Alice Hedt, Ombudsman at the Couocil of Governments, <br /> <br />3. Describe commanity involvement by the committee. One committee member brings <br /> a Senior Chorus to the Nursing Homds on a regular basis to entertain the <br /> residents. Another committee member who is a member of a Square Dance Club <br /> <br /> entertains residents upon request. S~veral committee members attended <br /> Leglslative Day at a Nursing Home. <br /> <br />4, Describe problems encountered by committee. One committee member resigned and <br /> other members were active in locating a qualified person to fiil the vacancy. <br /> <br /> <br />
